These photographs form part of the James Collection of Minnesota
Robert John Guttke says "I am a photographer with a fine art background. What does that mean? I studied painting and sculpture and drawing. Learned the importance of composition, light and shadow to define the vagaries of the human figure as well as favor the gentle or rugged contours of the face. There is also a quirky sense of humor at work that puts folks at ease and makes the photography experience great fun..."
These art photographs are offered for sale by The James Collection of Minnesota. The Collector says "As he lived up in Minneapolis, I went up to visit him several times over the years. Besides his studio work, his favourite setting was an abandoned ammunition factory located South of the Twin Cities. He described how the overgrown ruins made for interesting and varied lighting and contrasts with his models."
