Fetish Art Collection

A large collection assembled by a Dutch citizen in the latter part of the 20th century. Amsterdam was a great centre for the leather and SM scene with a famous venue in the Rob Store. Through Robs, the collector got to know many of the SM artists working there, including Nigel Kent and Bastille. Many fine pieces from the collection were sold at an exhibition in 2011 at the Adonis Art Gallery. Here the remaining items are exhibited. Of course, not all the items are hardcore, or even 'fetish' related, though most are. But they are shown altogether to demonstrate the skill and enterprise of a discriminating collector
